Last Day of Flintlock Season

Last day of flintlock season. I've put a lot of miles on today and haven't seen a thing. The whole deer season has been a bust. I just can't believe it. I think it's time to go to the swamp over in Akeley, Pa.
I grew up in that area, talk about big deer, I mean monster bucks. That's what I'm going to do next year.

Snowy day up on the mountain. It's been snowing like crazy  all morning. I should be ice fishing, but it hasn't been much of a winter this year. Don't know if I could trust the ice yet.

Auction find

Went to an auction recently. My wife picked up this old fiddle for me, it's older than dirt. Can't find any markings on it or in it. Pretty cool, I like it..If it could only talk. Have to get her cleaned up.
